I was lucky to get to do the cover illustration as well as its design, but D. August has done the real work — excellent writing. She's a longtime member of my online writing group and even her first draft blew me away with spot-on voices of three very different, very realistic main characters.  I've been re-designing a picture book that was published when digital page layout and Photoshop were in their infancy. Rights had reverted to the author, who wanted to revise the text and re-design the book to publish as a POD softcover. Since this book is based on licensed characters, the cover design was made to be part of a series. Click here to see more of the re-design.
